D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot will release a Switch version of Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair in 2022 in Japan, the companies announced.
Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair first launched for PlayStation 4 in April 2015 in Japan, followed by December 2015 in North America and February 2016 in Europe. A PC version was released via Steam in July 2016 worldwide.
